Welcome to the Annapolis Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. Delta Pi Omega has been proudly serving the community since our chartering on October 25, 1947, 69 years ago.
Our Chapter has worked hard to implement Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Launching New Dimensions of Service℠ through our outstanding work in Annapolis, Maryland in the areas of Education, Health Promotion, Environmental Ownership, Family Strengthening, and Global Impact.
We have expanded our presence in Annapolis through the Sorority’s initiatives, which include our signature enrichment program called ACSEND and our International Community Impact Days including:
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service (January)
- Pink Goes Red for Heart Health Day (February)
- 1908 Playgrounds Mobilization Day (May)
- The Longest Day™ Alzheimer’s Support Activities (June)
- Mental Health Awareness Day (July)
- Childhood Hunger Awareness Day (October)
